Il y a toutes sortes de manières de mourir, et d'ailleurs ne mourons-nous pas tous un peu chaque jour ? Que ce soit une séparation amoureuse, ou la révélation d'une infidélité de l'être cher, ou la prise de conscience que… notre enfance nous a échappé à tout jamais, la vie est pleine de ces moments où quelque chose se termine, irrémédiablement, et où quelque chose commence peut-être. Mais comment en être sûr ? Au fil de ces treize textes, on voit se balader la grande faucheuse, revêtue d'une infinité de déguisements, dont ceux qui sont caractéristiques de notre époque : menaces terroristes, violence urbaine, vieillards qu'on abandonne, migration forcée. Elle nous glace le sang, bien sûr, chaque fois que nous l'apercevons, mais cela ne nous empêche pas, à l'occasion, de répondre à son sourire narquois ou grinçant en lui tirant la langue. 2016.
