Biography of the former cowboy, prospector, and silver miner who became the radical leader of the Industrial Workers of the World - the celebrated "Wobblies." He led miners in the bloody "labour wars" in Cripple Creek, Colorado, and textile workers… in the famous "bread and roses" strike in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Prosecuted in two criminal cases, a "guilty" Haywood jumped bail and escaped to exile in Russia. Some strong language. 1983.
