Résumé
Well-known French-Canadian novelist and renowned author Margaret Atwood spent several weeks together during which they discussed many topics of mutual interest: the importance of childhood, of myth, and of belonging to territory; the real versus the imaginary world; the native… question in Canada; power and lack of it; the writing life - and, of course, their own works. Their conversations were recorded and broadcast in French on Radio-Canada. Here they have been transcribed and some additional quotations and notes have been added. 1996. Uniform title: Deux sollicitudes.
