Résumé
Jack Daw has always loved birds. When his class visits Wildlife Park and he sees an ostrich for the first time, Jack is fascinated by the huge bird. He steals an ostrich egg marked for snake food. At home he… slips his prize under an unsuspecting goose and, forty-one days later, Oliver hatches. Although his surrogate parents are confused by his odd appearance, Oliver soon becomes the pride and joy of his goose mother and Jack. Grades 3-6. 1993.
