un cortísimo periodo de tiempo en el que vivió en una comunidad (luz) en Minas Gerais/Brasil, de valores y prácticas sociales muy diferentes del escenario común. Por tratarse de un enfoque personal, subjetivo y limitado, su contenido es aquello que el observador consiguió registrar, con extractos en los que participa y es parte integrante de rituales, ceremonias y liturgias con un determinado propósito. Por eso, el libro está lejos de trazar caminos, mostrar resoluciones, dar respuestas y mucho menos tiene la pretensión de hallarse encima del bien o del mal. Tierras de la hermandad es también sentimiento, aprensión y angustia, provocación, en un ambiente en el que el autor es constantemente puesto a prueba y conoce otras formas de conocimiento y elevación. Independientemente de las ideas y opiniones de cada uno, en el libro es posible percibir cuanta seriedad y enfoque existe en esas prácticas, al ser realizadas de una forma atenta y teniendo siempre en cuenta la preservación y la valorización de las especies. En Tierras de la Hermandad, el autor pasa por un periodo muy difícil en el que siente la necesidad de encontrar (construir) un eje de vida para poder encontrarse, ya que atraviesa graves problemas familiares que lo limitan y al mismo tiempo lo alientan. Eso hace que su relato oscile entre situaciones de gran tensión, melancolía y frustración, y otros de júbilo, alegría y contemplación ante la vida, a medida que la acción va transcurriendo y caminando hacia su cumbre. Más que una aventura inusitada, de carácter espiritual y religioso, Tierras de la Hermandad es también un granero de personas y comportamientos que interactúan en un ambiente riguroso, difícil, pero religiosamente prometedor.
