a subject of intense public fascination. When Trudeau died in 2000, the outpouring of emotion was extraordinary. Thousands of people across Canada - and all over the world - mourned the loss of one of our greatest prime ministers. The editor has gathered more than one hundred and fifty reminiscences and anecdotal narratives about him from all over the globe. Bestseller 2005.Pierre Elliott Trudeau (Extraordinary Canadians)
Par Nino Ricci, John Ralston Saul. 2009
Begins with the role Trudeau played in the formation of Ricci’s own sense of identity in order to examine how…
he expanded all Canadians. Downplaying the perpetual rebel image that Trudeau crafted, Ricci reconstructs the charismatic prime minister as an almost Zelig-like figure. If his beliefs shifted radically over the years – from separatist to federalist, from fascist to liberal, from civil rights champion to military strongman – he always acted on deep convictions. c2009.Les lieux de mon cœur: récits autobiographiques ((Passion et défi).)
Par Marguerite Blais. 2016
Par Will Swift. 2014
Swift brings his years of experience as a historian and as a marital therapist to this unique examination of a…
long-misunderstood marriage. Nixon the man was enormously complicated: brilliant, insecure, sometimes coldly calculating, and capable of surprising affection with his wife. With the help of personal writings and interviews with family and friends, Swift unveils Pat as a woman who was warm and vivacious, yet much shrewder and more accomplished than she has been given credit for. Justin Trudeau, l'héritier: L'héritier
Par Huguette Young. 2015
